Refunds - It takes about 1 ½ - 2 weeks for you to receive your income tax refund after your tax return has

been signed off and the account is paid in full. A refund can get help up by CRA if they choose to

investigate your return further.

3.

Will my tax refund arrive via direct deposit or cheque? This all depends on how you set yourself up

in the past with CRA. No matter who prepares your tax return, all refunds are sent to people the same

method year after year until YOU make the change either yourself or through your tax preparer.

4.

I signed my tax return, what now? If our firm prepared your tax return, all returns must be signed off

and paid for before we Efile to CRA. Clients will sometimes sign off their returns and forget to pay for the

services or vice versa. In fact, your return will not be Efiled and refund issued until its signed and paid

for. If you requested our “Rapid Refund” service, then the cost of preparing your return is already

included in the service, but the it still must be signed off by you.
